RENEGADES PLANS FOR THE NEW YEAR

Renegades Foundation has wonderful plans for the the year.  Our past year was plagued by Board Members with their personal medical issues (some very severe); the passing away of family and friends (some violently); technological voodoo (what a nightmare); and numerous other factors that just played havoc on attempting to run, manage, sponsor, organize, and network with various non-profits.  Hopefully, with all that behind us except for a few minor details, we can now concentrate on matters that will benefit all our Disabled Community, our Senior Community, and all the Service Dogs, including Alternative Service Animals, involved.

To begin, we would like to welcome our newest Networking Service Animal Group founded by Gina and Mark D, who are also members of The Baltimore Assistance Dog and Renegades Foundation:

THE FILA SERVICE CREW

1) To continue to the best our of our ability our vision, mission, and values in expanded format by Networking with numerous  governmental agencies, organizations, and associations such as: The Baltimore Assistance Dog Club, The Fila Service Crew, Pet-Abuse.Com, BuchananFPC Tenant and Legal Empowerment, Save Our Service Animals, The Life of Riley Michelangelo, The Delta Society, The Department of Justice, The Attorney Generals Office, The New Hope Program for the NYC Animal Care and Control, The Civil Rights Commission for varying States, the Senior Centers,  various Hospitals and Medical Offices throughout the nation as to the rights of the Disabled Community and their Service Animals, McDonald's, and other fast food entities, Corporations, Factories, Malls, Supermarkets, in addition to other enterprises.

2) Fund-Raising so that we may be able to continue advocating, networking, educating, and distribute funds to those Disabled and Senior Members on limited income for the health, care, and support of their Service and Therapy Animals.

3) To generate special funds for the creation of a Multi-Community Center that caters to the Disabled and Senior Community and their Service and Therapy Animals, to include a FREE Veterinary Hospital; Volunteered Lawyers (Pro Bono); Volunteered Social Workers; Technical and Rehabilitative Assistance, Technical and Rehabilitative Equipment and Repairs, etc.

BuchananFPC Foundation and Renegade's Foundation will advocate for the rights of all tenants and community members, to include the elderly and the disabled, to have companion animals (both Mascots and Service, Assistance, & Therapy Animals).  We will work to educate the General Public and Landlords as to the laws and benefits, both psychological and physiological, of allowing their tenants to maintain companion animals.   Through this program we will work to generate a set of national rules and regulations that will provide a framework to best accomplish this task and that will protect the environment as well.  In addition, we will assist tenants with Social Service Issues and Disabilities that can directly or indirectly affect their relationships with their companion animals and/or the Community.
